Former Falconets’ goalkeeper, Bidemi Aluko has opened up on her secret battle with Breast Cancer which she said started in 2017.
The 26-year old from Ekiti State opened up that she was diagnosed of a rare breast cancer two years ago while still playing for her team, the Rivers Angels in the NWPL.
According to her, she had undergone a six-hour surgery, chemotherapy and radiation, but recently started feeling severe pains in her body.
The former Falconets goalkeeper took to social media some weeks back to reveal the shocking news as she uploaded some revelations on Facebook, where she solicited for funds from well-meaning Nigerians.
The former footballer said her doctor recommended that she would take ten doses of Herceptin treatment and each will cost about N470,000 and that to survive this difficult period, Bidemi Aluko urgently needs at least N5 million Naira.
