Justice Rilwan Aikawa of the federal high court Lagos today ruled that accused judge Rita ofili-ajumogobia is no more a judicial officer and so can be tried in a court of law for any offence.
The accused is on trial along with Godwin Obla for conspiracy and money laundering charges brought by the efcc.
But she contended that the charges were incompetent and that the court lacks jurisdiction.

Justice Aikawa dismissed her application saying the presidents’ letter to the CJN last year is clear, that she has ceased to be a judge.
