Some unemployed graduates have called on the federal government to increase its drive on creation of employment opportunities in order to reduce poverty in the country.
They made this known while speaking on some of the problems confronting them and how a small empowerment programme can turn around their lives.
Kazeem Olowe reports that the are unemployed Nigerian youths are graduates, with kids but despite their increasing responsibilities majority of them also depend on relatives and friends to survive. They said the frustration has been unbearable for them.
Although, these set of people now have the opportunity of changing their status from being unemployed to business owners through the support of the federal government, they say the number of people without sustainable jobs in Nigeria keeps increasing.
They however, promised to make good use of the opportunity provided for them by one of the agencies of the Federaral Ministry of Water Resources.
