Minister of State for Petroleum said the safety and welfare of host communities is key in those parts of the country where oil exploration activities are taking place.
He disclosed this to journalists after a closed door meeting with Vice President Yemi Osinbajo and top management staff of Total oil, one of the
companies involved in oil drilling in Nigeria.
The minister said taking care of the host communities would help to sustain milestones recorded in oil production.
