Nigeria signs $523,000 Technical Assistant Agreement grant with Islamic bank

Image result for DOLLARSNigeria has signed a Technical-Assistant-Agreement grant, worth 523,000-dollars with the Islamic Development Bank Group in Morocco. 

This was disclosed by Minister of Finance, Zainab Ahmed in a statement.

Mrs. Ahmed signed the agreement on behalf of the Nigerian Government while the President of the Islamic Development Bank, Bandar Hajjar, signed on behalf of the group.

She said the grants would be used to address capacity building-equipment and logistics-upgrade in the Hajj Commission.

As part of the deal, National Hajj Commission of Nigeria would get 243,000-dollars while the Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment would receive 280,000-dollars.
