The Kaduna State government has now reinstated a dusk to dawn curfew in Kajuma and Maraban Rido communities of Chikun local government area until further notice.
In a statement signed by Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Media and Publicity, Sameul Aruwan, the curfew takes effect from today 26th of April 2019. between 6pm and 6am daily.
Meanwhile, The Police in the state said they are ensuring full compliance of the curfew. The force said it is partnering the garrison command of the army to ensure things do not escalate.
The state Police Commissioner told newsmen in the state capital that the command under his watch would get to the root of the matter.
Ahmad Abdur-rahman wants enemies of peace to desist from evil and embrace togetherness. He said only then will there be progress in the land.
