The Chief of Army Staff, Tukur Buratai said the military would embark on a new strategy which would involve taking the war on terror to the base of the enemy, as against mounting defensive operations.
This change, and the welfare of soldiers formed part of the discussions at the Chief of Army Staff Conference which opened yesterday in maiduguri, Borno state.
