The National Center for Women Development, Abuja, has organised a 5 day ICT training programme for the visually impaired and a project management training for female entrepreneurs.
The trainers’ programme is designed to empower women towards becoming self-reliant, productive and to bridge the digital divide, thereby making women take up careers in specialized areas mostly dominated by men.
A total number of 50 participants selected from various organizations across the country are to benefit from the training program and a laptop will be given the each of them to enable them practice what they have been taught.
