The National Judicial Council has chosen a retired Supreme Court Justice Suleiman Galadima to replace Justice Ayo Salami, as head of the Corruption and Financial Crime Cases Trial Monitoring Committee.
Justice Suleiman Galadima will now head the 16-man commitee.
The replacement follows the resignation of the former president of the court of appeal last week.
Justice Salami, turned down the position before a date for the committee’s inauguration could be announced.
The NJC said the committee led by Justice Galadima would be inaugurated on Wednesday.
