The ongoing ASUU strike has continued to paralyse academic and social activities at the Federal University of Technology, Akure in Ondo state.
TVC’s Ayodeji Moradeyo who visited the institution, reports that most of the students, who refused to go home, want the government and lecturers to amicably resolve the crisis.
They are simply loitering around, in the absence of lectures. The lecture rooms are literally deserted, as the lecturers complied with the strike directive.
The students want the government and the striking lecturers to resolve the crisis amicably.
For the striking lecturers, the industrial action will continue until government yields to their demands.
