The Rivers State Police commissioner, Francis Odesanya has died. Odesanya died at a hospital in India after a brief illness.
The Inspector of General of Police, Ibrahim Idris confirmed his death through a statement released by the Force PRO, Jimih Moshood
He was posted as commissioner to the Rivers state police command in July the 20th, 2016, a position he held until his death
CP Odesanya who died at the age of 56 hails from Ikenne, Ogun state.
