Ondo: PDP Members Continue Protests against Jegede’s Exclusion

It is the second day that aggrieved members of the party will stage a protest in the state capital.

The protesters, most of them members of the Ahmed Makarfi faction of the PDP condemned INEC’s decision, and called for a reversal of the decision.

The protesters marched from the PDP state secretariat located on Ijapo road to the palace of the Deji of Akure.

Armed with placards with various inscriptions, the protesters, said no election will take place in the state until Eyitayo Jegede is recognised by INEC

He added that members would continue with the protest until INEC reversed its action and gives recognition to Jegede.
