The All Progressive Congress in Zamfara State has called on security agencies to investigate the clash between supporters of the People’s Democratic Party and those of the ruling APC which led to the death of one person.
The party also demand apology from the People’s Democratic Party over what it described as attack on its supporters
One person was reportedly killed, eighteen injured and Vehicles were set Ablaze during a clash between Supporters of the two major Political Parties in Zamfara over the weekend
Addressing a press conference at the state APC Office, spokesperson of the party Yusuf Idris is accusing the PDP of Launching attack on its supporters during it’s rally to welcome Dauda Lawal, the Governorship Candidate of the PDP in next year’s election
The APC Wants security agencies to wade into the matter and arrest those responsible to serve as deterrent to orders
The people’s Democratic Party had on Sunday denied bringing in thugs during it’s rally in Gusau.
The PDP further accused the State Government of using all available means to stop from Campaigning ahead of next year’s Election.
