President of the Senate, Ahmed Lawan, said the relationship between the legislature and executive has produced tremendous results in the past few months.
He was speaking during a reception organised by the Yobe state government in his honour and that of the Minister of State for Works and Housing, Abubakar Aliyu.
Former Governor, Bukar Abba, traditional rulers and other politicians were at the event held at the banquet hall of the Government House, Damaturu.
In his speech, Governor Mai Mala Buni said residents of Yobe are proud to have the position of president of the senate emerged from the state.
