Since the event, the Oyo State Government has continued to provide assistance to those affected through various welfare initiatives.

The government awarded a ₦4.08 billion relief cash for 318 structures within a 500-metre radius of the bomb site.

At a press conference organised by the Bodija Estate Residents Association, the fund was acknowledged, with the Chairman confirming that residents have begun receiving their compensation.

Regarding the prosecution of those behind the tragedy, the Bodija Estate Residents Association revealed that the case has been refiled, and steps are being taken to extradite the main suspect.

The association also appealed to the Oyo State Government to include some households that were initially excluded from the relief package, adding that families with peculiar cases are currently being handled by the State Ministry of Justice.
