The Programme involved a series of peace building meetings with Traditional Leaders, the Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association as well as the Leadership of Civilian JTF and YanSakai.

The recent meeting in Anka Emirate Council led to the release of Thirty Three People including women and Children who had been in Captivity for more than Seventy days.

He disclosed that remarkable progress has been achieved so far as two hundred persons have regained their freedom.

Residents are optimistic that the peace building initiative will go a long way in addressing the Current Security Challenges facing the state.
