The Nigerian Super Falcons have won the 2018 edition of the women cup of nations. The Nigerian female team defeated South Africa on penalty shoot-out after a thrilling goalless match.
This makes it the ninth time the defending champions Super will win the Africa Women’s Cup of Nations.

The Nigerian Football federation had promised the team a sum of $10,000 each if they could defend the cup succesfully.
