The Senate has canvassed for the reintroduction of toll gates to provide additional funds for maintaining federal highways in the country.
The resolution followed a motion by Senator Suleiman Nazif (APC/Bauchi North) on the proposed tolling system
He also canvassed for the full involvement of the Senate in the formulation of the policy to drive it, if it is embraced by the Nigerian government.
