A three-day conference on security information management has opened in Abuja. The event attended by information managers from the military, paramilitary and non governmental organizations seeks to make public relations managers of government agencies more accountable to the people.
Organized by the Peace and Conflict Resolution Resource Centre, the conference provides a platform for knowledge sharing on how to respond swiftly yet appropriately through the media in the event of conflict.
Some of the participants who spoke at the event and also with TVC News agreed the public has a right to be well informed, against all odds.
