Nigeria’s Sand Eagles look to seal qualification to the quarterfinal of the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup when they take on Iran on Monday.
After their opening 12-6 defeat to Italy, the Sand eagles staged a remarkable comeback to defeat Mexico 5-4 in extra time on Sunday.
Nigeria now have two points from two matches and will need a win against Iran to sail through.
Iran, meanwhile, are second in group B on three points. Already qualified Italy take on eliminated Mexcio in the other group B match.
