The Revenue Mobilisation Allocation and Fiscal Commission has recovered the sum of N268billion from Banks in Nigeria.
Acting Chairman of RMAFC, Umar Gana, said the recovery was made after probing tax remittances by banks, stamp duty collections, withholding taxes and Value Added Tax.
Gana said the commission had verified collections by banks and recovered more than N73billion on stamp duty collections alone.
