Suspected kidnappers, armed robbers and bandits have been paraded at the office of the special anti-robbery squad in Abuja.
The suspects were found in possession of various types of ammunition.
The police paraded forty seven suspects they positively linked with violence offence like armed robbery, kidnapping, cattle rustling, House breaking and unlawful possession of weapons.
In total three hundred and twenty one rounds of AK-47, ammunition were recovered nine pistol, ten AK 49 rifles, seven AK 47 rifles, eight hundred sixty four rounds of live cartridges and a cash sun of two hundred and
fifty-eight thousand five hundred and seventy naira.
Also found in their possession were camouflage uniforms and other forms of incriminating evidence.
The police is upbeat about its recent successes which it says should be a warning to any person who engages in crime with the mind that he can get away with it, that there is no place for h in society
