The General Officer Commanding 3rd Division and Commander of Operation Safe Haven, Major General Folusho Oyinlola, has engaged critical stakeholders from the areas in a town hall meeting to deal with the challenge.

This is to tackle incessant attacks and killings of defenceless citizens across the Riyom and Jos South council areas of Plateau State, as well as achieve a successful 2025 farming season in the communities.

The search for a lasting solution to the continued attacks and killings of citizens within the Riyom and Jos South council areas of Plateau is the reason for the gathering.

During his welcome address, the GOC emphasised the importance of promoting peaceful cohesion and overcoming differences.

Stakeholders from both native and Fulani communities were given the opportunity to share their grievances and discuss how to address recurring issues in the areas.

Justice on the part of lawbreakers in the state, irrespective of who is involved, among other key issues, was the way forward emphasised at the event.

Some measures were also agreed upon by the two stakeholders for achieving a successful farming season in the areas.
