The Oyo State Government on has joined the rest of the country to celebrate Nigeria’s 65th Independence Anniversary in grand style.
The event, held at the Lekan Salami Sports Complex, Adamasingba, Ibadan, featured colourful match pasts by several secondary schools and security formations across the State.
Deputy Governor of Oyo State, Barrister Adebayo Lawal, represented Governor Seyi Makinde and took the salute as he inspected the parade.
As part of the celebration, a novelty football match is also scheduled to add glamour to the commemoration.
