Four days after his name was released as the Governorship Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) in the November the 26th Governorship election in Ondo state, Jimoh Ibrahim made a triumphant entry to the state.
Ibrahim was welcomed by his supporters who belong to the Ali modi Sheriff camp in the ancient town of Ore amidst pomp and ceremony.
Ibrahim who moved round some communities in Odigbo and Okitipupa local government areas was accompanied by the party’s deputy governorship candidate, Ebenezer Alabi and the factional chairman of the party, Biyi Poroye.
A federal high court sitting in Abuja had two weeks ago ordered INEC to replace Eyitayo Jegede’s name with Jimoh Ibrahim.

Speaking with reporters after the rally, Ibrahim accused the state government of sponsoring hoodlums to protest against his recognition as the party’s flag bearer.
He said no amount of sponsored protests would stop his ambition to govern the state.
Some of the party chieftains described Ibrahim as the authentic PDP candidate.
