The Archbishop of Anglican Diocese of Ondo, Most Reverend Latunji Lasebikan has taken a swipe at the Nigerian Government, over its inability to tackle the menace of herdsmen across the country.

He said this while delivering a sermon at the thanksgiving service to commemorate Governor Rotimi Akeredolu’s first year in office.

Most Reverend Lasebikan condemned the Nigerian government for not doing enough to tackle the menace of herdsmen.

Archbishop Lasebikan, who commended the achievements of Governor Akeredolu, urged the federal government to add more bite to its anti-graft war.

In his speech, Governor Akeredolu stressed the need for people of the State to pay their taxes for his administration to deliver more on its mandate.

This, he said would assist his administration to complete ongoing projects across the State.
