The Chairman of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) in Ogun State has described the suspension of its executives over alleged Anti-party activities as a fuss and unnecessary political frivolities.
The national leadership of the NNPP had earlier accused the party’s state structure of working against the party’s interest in the pre and post election activities especially with the recent withdrawal of litigation against the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC and Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State.
In his reaction, the state chairman, Sunday Ogini maintained that the purported expulsion cannot stand, as the court has restrained the national leadership from interfering in the party’s affairs in the state.
