Ogun APC Youth vow to defeat Amosun’s Governorship candidate

Following the decision of the former Ogun State Governor, Ibikunle Amosun to support the governorship candidate of the African Democratic Congress in the state, Biyi Otegbeye; youths in the All Progressives Congress has declared that they would ensure Governor Dapo Abiodun emerge victorious in the coming governorship election .

The youth under the APC Youth League, Ogun State Coordinate, said the declaration of the former Governor would not stop the re-election of Governor Abiodun, insisting that he would be defeated like 2019 when he anointed Abdulkabir Akinlade of Alliance People’s Movement.

 

The APC youths said they have been able to distinguish between emperor and leader hence their support Gov Abiodun.

 

Addressing a press conference in commemoration of Freedom Day in Abeokuta, the state capital, the Coordinator, Comrade Yunus Fayomi

called on the voting populace in the Gateway state to use their Permanent Voters Cards to reject falsehood and deception which have left the State polity over three years ago.

 

He said this is the time to reward a government that has ensured even distribution of developmental and legacy projects into the nooks and crannies of the State.

The Director General of the Yobe state APC Campaign Council, Sen. Mohammed Hassan, has described the Zone C rally in Gashua as a huge success.

 

Speaking with journalists in Damaturu today, Hassan said, the turn out of supporters and party members are to welcome the Senate President Ahmad Lawan and Yobe state Governor, Mai Mala Buni, was unprecedented.

 

Hassan further stressed t

that the massive support and turn out is a reflection of the party’s success in the forthcoming election.

 

He says the success of the Buni administration would win the state and National for APC.

 

The DG thanked party supporters for mobilising themselves to support the ruling party.

 

50000 EXPECTED TO ATTEND RIVERS APC PRESIDENTIAL RALLY 

Some leaders of the All Progressives Congress in Rivers State have predicted a landslide victory for Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the forthcoming presidential election.

They expressed optimism about the candidate’s chances ahead of the APC Presidential campaign rally scheduled to hold in Port Harcourt on Wednesday.

Preparations are in top gear to host the presidential campaign train of the APC in Port Harcourt and work is ongoing to get the Yakubu Gowon Stadium ready for the event.

Members of the Presidential Campaign Council and the Tinubu/Shettima Independent Campaign Council are here to inspect the venue and ensure that the rally holds successfully.

Their presence also sends a message that Rivers State is ready for the much anticipated rally despite the uncertainties surrounding the event.

The dust is yet to settle on the disagreement between the Presidential Campaign Council and the Rivers State chapter of the APC over each other’s commitment to the Tinubu/Shettima campaign.

But despite that, organizers of the rally are expecting a huge crowd to fill up this stadium as proof that the APC will win the Presidential
election in Rivers.

Baring any last minute changes, the APC Presidential campaign rally for Rivers State will hold on the 15th of February.

 

GROUP URGES NIGERIANS TO SHUN POLITICS OF BITTERNESS

 

As the race to the 2023 elections  continues to gather steam, Nigerian have been admonished to shun politics of bitterness, intolerance and prejudice; but rather pay attention to the renewed hope the Tinubu/Shetima ticket has to offer.

This call was made by a group under the aegis of Asiwaju for Shetima Organisation at a press conference in ABEOKUTA, Ogun State capital.

Convener of the group, Adetunji Oyedipe said contrary to insinuations in the public domain, the APC candidates have since led by example championing the Nigerian and not sectional project.

He added that both Asiwaju and Senator Shettima represent engaging, principled leaders who are committed to facing critical challenges in their communities, Nigeria, and the world at large.
