NSCDC RE-ARREST FLEEING BANDIT IN GENERAL HOSPITAL GUMMI, ZAMFARA

Operatives of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps Zamfara State Command has re-arrested a fleeing suspected bandit in Gummi Local Government area of the state

He was arrested at the Gummi General Hospital while trying to treat a cutlass wound he sustained on his head while in the hands of Security agencies in Sokoto

The Suspect was earlier arrested by the Army in Collaboration with local vigilante group in Tambuwal Local Government area of Sokoto State, but escaped during interrogation

The Suspect was arrested by the Army alongside two of his partners in crime in Jaja village while in the process to collect seven million naira ransom from relatives of seven kidnap Victims in their camp

The Bandits had placed one million naira each on their Victims

The thirty year old Umar Babuga Malami hails from Yartsakuwa village in Gayeri District of Gummi Local Government Area of Zamfara state

The Zamfara NSCDC say Intelligent networking of the men of the Corps in synergy with the military led to the rearrest of the brigand

However, the Zamfara state Command of the NSCDC has reiterated its resolve to work in synergy with sister agencies in the fight against Banditry and Kidnapping

The command further warn miscreants and mischief makers to stay clear from Zamfara State as the Corps is poised to purge the state of all criminal elements.

This is the second time in two weeks that two Indigenous bandit Kingpins are arrested in Zamfara

Communities in Zamfara are facing though times due to the activities of armed bandits and Kidnappers which has prevented many from farming or travelling outside their Community.
