Nigerians have been advised not to see healthcare service provision as the sole responsibility of government but rather make their input.
A former commissioner for health in Osun state, Temitope Ilori, stated this during a free medical service organised for people of Ila-Orangun.
Mr Ilori organised the programme in honour of his late mother, Omowumi Akande, who was the wife of Chief Adebisi Akande.
He encouraged the people to always make themselves available when free health service is organised in their environment.
