The Kwara State Road Maintenance Agency has commenced massive rehabilitation of roads in some parts of the state.
The attention is currently on spot-patching of some of the failed portions and total rehabilitation of some others.
This is just as governor AbdulFatah Ahmed has promised that government will focus attention on rural roads for easy movement of farm produce to the state capital and other major towns.
His promise is coming on the heels of a request by indigenes of Ebamiyo Community Development Association for the construction of their 21 kilometer road.
