Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, has led Nigeria’s delegation to the 42nd Session of the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) Assembly in Montreal, Canada.

During the event, Keyamo held bilateral meetings with counterparts from Saudi Arabia, Japan, Canada and India.

Their meetings centered on key issues affecting member countries and cooperation strategies ahead of the upcoming ICAO Council elections.

In a post on X, he said: “In Montreal, Canada, on the sidelines of the 42nd Session of the Assembly of the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO), I led the Nigerian delegation to hold several bilateral meetings with Saudi Arabia, Japan, Canada, and India.

“We discussed issues affecting the countries in the ICAO Council and explored ways to cooperate in the upcoming Council elections.”
