President Bola Tinubu has arrived at the venue of the Chief of Army Staff Annual Conference in Lagos on Monday.
President Tinubu, represented by Vice President Kashim Shettima, upon his arrival at the venue inspected the military guard of honour in line with the armed forces’ traditional way of paying tribute to a dignitary.
This was disclosed in a statement shared on X by Stanley Nkwocha, the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media & Communications, Office of the Vice President.

The statement reads, “Upon arrival at the venue of the Chief of Army Staff Annual Conference in Lagos, Vice President Kashim Shettima @officialSKSM inspected a military guard of honour, in line with the armed forces’ traditional way of paying tribute to a dignitary.
“The Vice President, representing President Bola Tinubu @officialABAT, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, is on ground as the Special Guest of Honour.”
