German-born Hannover 96 forward, Noah Bazee, could wait longer to make his debut for Nigeria as he faces a battle to be fit for the friendlies against Senegal and Burkina Faso.
The 20-year-old switched his international allegiance to Nigeria following discussions from the Coach of the Super Eagles, Gernot Rohr.
Rohr named the player among the 25 players invited for the two warm-up matches ahead of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against South Africa and the 2018 World Cup qualifying double-header against Cameroon.
But Hannover have confirmed on their Twitter handle that Bazee is down with a knee injury and needed treatment.
