Officers that will assume command & control responsibilities in the operation to defeat Boko Haram in Nigeria have completed a 2 week strategic training for joint operations with the assistance of British forces.
The officers are drawn from the Army, Navy & Air force alongside agents of the secret police, National Intelligence Agency and other paramilitary services.
The Chief of Defence Staff recently harped on the need for joint operations as the only means of defeating insurgents in the country
