Governor Chukwuma Soludo of Anambra State cast his vote on Saturday as residents across the state participated in the ongoing governorship election.

The APGA candidate arrived at Polling Unit 002, Umuezeadigo Street, in his hometown of Isuofia, Aguata Local Government Area, at 1:13 pm to exercise his civic right.

Soludo, who is seeking re-election, had previously urged residents to turn out in large numbers, describing the election as a crucial opportunity to shape the future of the state.

He also referred to his re-election campaign as a “divine project” and a people-driven movement, reflecting what he described as the collective will of Ndi Anambra for continuity and sustainable development.

A total of 16 candidates from 16 political parties are vying for the governorship in the election.
