Deputy National Chairman (South) of the Consolidated APC Grassroots Movement (CAGraM), Dr. Agbi Stephen Omobamidele, has paid glowing tribute to Mr. Adeboye Anthony Adeyinka, Senior Special Assistant to the President on Grassroots Sports Development, as he marks his 60th birthday.
In a goodwill message, Hon. Omobamidele described the celebrant, widely known and loved as “Baba Ewe” — Father of the Little Ones, as a towering figure in youth development whose lifelong dedication to nurturing young talents has transformed lives and strengthened communities across Nigeria.
He noted that for decades, Adeyinka has remained a symbol of hope, discipline, and purposeful leadership at the grassroots, using sports as a strategic tool to promote unity, discover talents, and steer countless young Nigerians away from social vices towards productive and meaningful futures.
According to Omobamidele, attaining the milestone age of 60 is not merely a personal celebration but a national moment to recognize a man whose vision and commitment have contributed significantly to building a stronger foundation for Nigeria’s sporting future.
He further emphasized that the title “Baba Ewe” is a reflection of the deep affection and respect the celebrant commands among youths and stakeholders nationwide, describing him as a father figure whose impact goes beyond official responsibilities into genuine mentorship and nation-building.
