Image result for BREAKING: Kogi APC crisis: Court orders parties to maintain status quo, pending the hearing of the suit.The federal high court sitting in Abuja, has ordered all parties in the suit seeking to stop the National Working Committee of the All Progressives Congress from adoption of indirect primaries in the upcoming primary election in Kogi State to maintain status quo, pending the hearing of the suit.

Delivering ruling, Justice Taiwo Taiwo, held that in view of the urgency of the matter, it is important to give accelerated hearing to the suit, thereby breaching the time for the respondent in the suit to respond within 10 days.

The Haddy Ametuo led faction of the APC, in Kogi State, instituted a suit seeking to stop the NWC of the APC, from adopting indirect primaries for candidate in the August 29 primaries, ahead of the November 16 2019 governorship election.

The court adjourned to 19th of August for hearing of the substantive matter and all pending applications.
