Some suspected gunmen have reportedly kidnapped abusinessman, Tukur Sabaru, in his Sabaru Village, Dange/Shuni local area of SokotoState.
Sources disclosed to TVC News the village was thrown into confusion Monday night as gunmen stormed the village and whisked away the business man.
A family source told TVCNEWS that the gunmen abducted the businessman at exactly 8:15PM as he returned from the market.
Fear griped residents of the area over the attack as many expressed concern and are worried about the incident considering the proximity of Sabaru to the city centre.
A police source who is not authorised to speak confirmed the incident to TVCNEWS.
But the Command Public Relations Officer Assistant Superintendent of Police Mohammed Sadiq Abubakar said detail of the attack is still sketchy and promised to address the press at the conclusion of investigation.
