Bayelsa govt approves land for Agip Oil’s residential quarters

Image result for Bayelsa govt approves land for Agip Oil's office, residential quarters in YenagoaThe Bayelsa State government has offered to provide land for the Nigerian Agip Oil Company to build its corporate office and residential quarters in Yenagoa the state capital.

The offer was gladly accepted by the managing director of the company, Massimo Insulla who was in Yenagoa where both parties made commitments to work together for the success of the 13.5 billion dollar deep water Zabazaba project in the state.

Ovieteme George reports that the Bayelsa State Governor has been playing host to high profile visitors in the past one month.

First, was the European Union Ambassador, followed by the British High Commissioner to Nigeria and recently, representatives of the United States Consul General.

Next is the the Managing Director of the Brass Liquefied Natural Gas project, Daniele Tamburini who got Governor Seriake Dickson’s assurances for the success of the project.

The Bayelsa State governor later played host to the Managing Director of Agip, Massimo Insulla, who had come to Yenagoa for talks on the 13.5 billion Dollars deep water Zabazaba project.

The Zabazaba deep water project is expected to increase Nigeria’s crude production level, develop oil and gas reserves in the range of 560 million barrels of oil equivalent.
