Edo North Senator, Adams Oshiomhole, has said his priority ahead of the next general election is to secure the support of his constituents for his re-election and the electoral success of President Bola Tinubu and other candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC), rather than engage in speculation over the leadership of the Senate.

Oshiomhole made the remarks during an interview on TVC News’ Beyond the Headline with Nifemi Oguntoye on Monday, July 27.

The former Edo State governor said his focus remains on delivering electoral victories for the APC in his constituency, while reaffirming his loyalty to the ruling party.

“This time around I want to concentrate on convincing the people of my constituency to vote for me, to vote for President Tinubu and to vote for the House of Representatives candidate and House of Assembly candidate because we belong to the same party.”

He described himself as a loyal party member, recalling that he remained committed to his convictions even when it came at a personal cost.
