The National Association of Nigerian students has pledged not to involve or participate in the planned nation wide protest scheduled for 1st to 10th of August 2024.
The student body made its position clear during a meeting with the Minister of Education and Senior Special Assistant to the president on Students engagement
While interacting with the minister, NANs representative acknowledged the effort of president tinubu’s administration in the education sector and promised to give its support for the government

The body however advised the president to put mechanisms in place to alleviate poverty among Students as a result of hardship occasioned by the removal of fuel subsidy in 2023.
