Former Governor of Anambra State in the third Republic Chukwuemeka Ezeife, is dead.
He was 85 years old.
According to a statement released by his son, Rod Ezeife, on behalf of the family, his father died at the Federal Medical Centre, Abuja.
Born on November 20, 1938, the deceased fondly called ‘Okwadike’, was governor of Anambra state between January 1992 to November 1993 during the aborted Third Republic.
He hailed from Igbo-Ukwu community, in Aguata council Area of Anambra State
Dr. Ezeife was a retired Federal Permanent Secretary, a Political Adviser to a former President and former Presidential aspirant.
