“He left power in 2007 and today even after almost 16 years he left power, the crowds have come out to honour him, we are still talking about the impact he made in Lagos, i am part of the people he mentored”.

“As i was in the stadium today, i saw men and women he has built around him, he himself may not known but what he has done has a multiplier effect down the line, i used myself as an example, he brought me into governance in 2005.

“I served him and finished in 2007, Fashola retained me and i served him for 8 years and Ambode 4 years and then Sanwoolu, you don’t know how loaded i am from what i have learnt in Lagos, i can always gave the credit to the man who brought me to the fore, same for thousands of Others and i can say even Millions across Nigeria, i know the number of people he has mentore and that is what stood him apart from Other Leaders”

” And since 2007 Only one man is being talked about among the 36 governors across the Country, he transformed the Economy of Lagos from a 600 Million Naira Internally Generated Revenue to Billions, today Lagos Economy is bigger than the Economies of Several African Countries”

“Anybody that has had the privilege of ruling Lagos can handle Nigeria, ruling Lagos is a 24 Hour business, in Abuja, people go to sleep by 9-10pm but here things can happen by 2am and the governor has to do something at that point, Lagos is a business city, an economic nerve centre, School of Politics, that is Lagos”

“I have been here since the 80’s so i know what i am talking about”

“Whenever Lagos sneezes Other States in Nigeria Catch cold, Lagos is the pride of Nigeria because of this and they have had goodluck in picking leaders, none has failed since 1999, its a continum where one stops the Others starts from where he stopped”

“If you come to Nnewi where i come from at Christmas period you will be seeing Lagos numbers all the Cars, Lagos Lagos, the markets will be full, but once it is January 1-5 when they begin to go back to Lagos the whole town will be like just a graveyard, What Igbo people have in Lagos, they don’t have a quarter in Igboland, this is the hub, don’t forget that you have about 25-30 Million people here, its a potential market, have you been to the markets, you see all West African Countries are coming to Lagos to come and buy goods and go, go to ASPAMDA you will see them, it will continue to expand, once you have people of that Number, anything you want to sell you bring it here you will sell”.

“Go to the Lagos/Ibadan Expressway early in the morning, you will see trucks coming in from the North with Food items

” Of Course he is a good man, i have told you, Asiwaju Tinubu can pick anybody from anywhere in this country and make him relevant in Lagos, he has taken a lot of people to the Senate, to the House of Reps, to the State Assemblies, he has given a lot of people Jobs, who won’t forget, he has build formidable followership across Nigeria, we use to go to his house just to have a n evening with him and you will see somebody from Daura in his house or from Gongola state and he will be presenting a certificate asking for his support that Oga i am running for office in my State and i want you to support me, he will support you, he will encourage you to go and you go, he is a special person and those of us he has raised feels it is payback time, i know many of us who are working for him because we know what he can offer, he can be trusted, he knows eher he is going, he is dependable and above all he cares”
