The Federal Government has launched the Presidential Project Delivery Tracker and Websites to enable citizens track nine priority areas of government projects across the country
Unveiling the project in Abuja, the Secretary to the Government Of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, said the platforms were introduced to ensure the achievement of the priority goals of the Buhari Administration.
President Muhammadu Buhari in 2020 listed nine policy issues that would be the major focus of his remaining years in office.
The President has promised to channel time, energy and resources towards growing the economy, fighting poverty, improving access to quality education, healthcare and enhancing productivity.
To achieve this, there is need to incorporate a systematic feedback mechanism from the citizens into the design and operationalisation of its Performance Management System.
The federal government has now formally unveiled the Presidential Delivery Tracker developed by the Central Delivery Coordination Unit in the office of the secretary to the government of the federation
The mechanism is to track, review and periodically report to the President on performance of Ministries in the delivery of the Ministerial Mandates.
This is coming towards the tail end of this administration but is a culmination of the Presidential Delivery Tracker Website initiative signed in 2019 by Ministers, Permanent Secretaries and President Muhammadu Buhari.
