President Muhammadu Buhari has arrived in Brussels, Belgium, for the sixth EU-African Union conference.
The presidential jet landed at about 12midnight Tuesday on a rainy hour.
Nigeria’s Ambassador to Belgium, Obinna Onowo, and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama, among others, were at the airport to receive him upon his arrival.
President Buhari will attend the two-day meeting on February 17-18, alongside other world leaders.
Finance for long-term, inclusive growth, climate change, and energy transmission are among the topics to be tackled during the summit.
Other topics include how to keep the peace in Africa and how to improve education and security.
