Bandits have been neutralized in Brinin Gwari Local Government area in Kaduna, by Operation Thunder Strike (OPTS) component of the Nigerian Air Force.
The Kaduna State, Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Samuel Aruwan, who confirmed this development in a press release, stated that, the operation was carried out in response to credible intelligence gotten, that bandits were congregating in some locations, to carry out attack in Birnin Gwari Local Government Area.
He revealed that, the mission was conducted around the Kaduna-Birnin Gwari road, where the bandits were engaged and neutralized.
A similar operation, was also carried out, in settlements and villages around Kaduna-Abuja road.
