One Hundred and three inmates have so far returned to the Imo State Correctional Centre that was attacked by unknown gunmen on the early hours of Monday.
The Deputy Controller of the Service in the State, Seye Olukoya gave this update when the factional leadership of Ohaneze Ndigbo led by Chidi Ibe paid a visit to the Custodian Centre to commensurate with him over an attack on the facilities of the Correctional Centre and State Police Headquarters in the State.
Olukoya said the Service is intensifying effort to ensure they reach out to the lawyers of the inmates to bring them back to the Correctional Centre which according to him is yielding positive result.
