Congratulatory messages have started pouring in honour of Dr Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala following her appointment as the Director-General of the World Trade Oerganisation.
Okonjo-Iweala, a 66-year-old former Minister of Finance minister was appointed the first female and first African to occupy the WTO director-general seat.
Some of the early messages are those from the governor of Delta state, her state of origin, Ifeanyi Okowa, former governor of Anambra State, Peter Obi, Publisher of Ovation Magazine, Dele Momodu among others.
