The Standards Organisation of Nigeria has seized a 40-foot container stocked with substandard liquefied cooking gas cylinders worth over N38 million.
The Director-General, SON, Osita Aboloma that the cylinders do not meet safety requirements and it is a threat to human lives and property.
Mister Aboloma emphasized the need to follow standards when dealing in LPG cylinders.
He adds that it was highly dangerous to use cylinders of higher capacities like 12.5kg.
